Here's how to access the self diagnostic / configuration menu on a Nissan Almera 2003 SVE (N16):
- Start the engine
- Turn the radio on
- Turn the radio off
- Hold the info button in then:
- Turn the volume knob up (clockwise) until:
- Diagnostic menu appears
From here you can do various things: run self-diagnostics; reset/change the main service counter; various other tests for the climate control, sat nav system, etc.
Aha! Thanks ever so much for the advise, was beginning to rip my hair out trying to figure this one out. Just bought this car and have had it for w few weeks now but couldn't work out the self diagnostic menu so thanks again.
Basically that's "hacking your car", aint it? ;)
